Exciting & Robust

Getting more students excited about the jobs of the future is the whole reason ACS exists. That starts with “cool” classes that also give students the foundational skills they’ll need when they hit college and the workforce.

Easy to Deploy

Programs are only as successful as the schools and teachers who offer them. ACS provides the plan and coaching to get programs up and running on-time with the support required to keep them successful and evolving over time.

Affordable

With access to amazing federal & state benefits in addition to how attractive the programs are for subsidies from local employers, launching the Computer Science & IT curriculum your community needs is more affordable than you think.

FOUNDED IN 2017

Our Expertise

A number of catalysts convinced the team behind Miami EdTech (formerly focused in southern Florida) to take their mission nationwide as Advance Computer Science:

  • Students of all ages became even more comfortable learning remotely during Covid-19
  • The team developed significant expertise in launching, managing, and growing STEM programs with focus on CS & IT
  • The demand for CS/IT education beginning in high school has never been higher nor more critical for ensuring our nation’s youth have a path to well-paid jobs
  • We have unique expertise in creating programs that increase equity in the communities they serve
  • For communities where high school and community college integration is on the way, we can support Pre-Apprenticeship > Registered Apprenticeship pathways to well-paid, in-demand jobs

So the team met with its board and decided the time was right to take their mission and skills to a wider audience. Advance Computer Service now serves students, schools, and employers across the country.

PROGRAM STUDENTS LOVE

Electric Vehicles, Robotics Competitions? Yes, Please!

ACS doesn’t just bring STEM curriculum development. We can help you with an integrated bundle that incorporates teacher training and course modules like these:

Imagine LEGO meets Tesla. Students will be build their own life-size drivable electric vehicles with kits that can be reconfigured into any type of invention students imaginations can think of.

Have students create and program robots online and then compete in global competitions against students from other schools around the world. Imagine Riders as the online version of FIRST or VEX robotics but without the associated cost of travel.
